Course credit earned through Pikes Peak Bible Institute classes can be applied toward an Associate of Arts in Christian Studies or a Bachelor of Arts in Christian Studies from Oklahoma Baptist University. We also offer a Second Bachelor of Arts in Christian Studies for those who have already obtained a Bachelor degree in another field.

General Education courses required in the A.A. and B.A. degree are not offered through Pikes Peak Bible Institute. Students may complete those courses from another accredited college or university (see the OBU catalog for guidelines on transfer credit). Course substitutions must be approved in writing by the dean of OBU's School of Christian Service.

To successfully complete the A.A. or B.A. program, one must have an overall grade point average of 2.0 with no grade lower than C in all religion and applied ministry courses.

PPBI's Program is Accredited
Pikes Peak Bible Institute’s utilizes a program developed by Oklahoma Baptist University called Ministry Training Institute. This program is accredited by the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools and is governed by the same accreditation standards as OBU’s on-campus programs. MTI is part of the Joe L. Ingram School of Christian Service (SCS) and operates with the approval of the University’s board of trustees.

Pikes Peak Bible Institutes teachers are required to have at least a master’s degree from a regionally accredited seminary or graduate school of religion and must be approved by the dean of OBU’s School of Christian Service.
